Reading - daily preparation

Hello guys
I attended november SAT tests and I am going to prepare for the november. In my opinion, my biggest weakness is reading section. Do you guys have any plan for month how to daily prepare for it? I mean reading some essay collections or articles.
I found some interesting websites from which to learn prepare:
150 Great Articles and Essays
<a href="http://www.nytimes.com/pages/magazine/%5B/url%5D">http://www.nytimes.com/pages/magazine/</a>
The Economist - World News, Politics, Economics, Business & Finance

those sites/essays have pretty high level of english, so it should be satisfactory to prepare from. Also, in combination with practice test, it should be enough to rise my score. Do you have any other tricks to prepare from? Any books?

Thank you :)

im going to purchase "direct hits vol. 1 +2 ", which contain key SAT vocab words. People tell me learning these words greatly increases your score :D

increased my CR from 590 to 760. I found that reading “scholarly” articles doesn’t help much. I just kept reading for enjoyment like I always have but studied a lot more vocab on the side, and took a lot of practice tests.

gj satman! So I guess I’ll stick to some practice tests every day.

+ofocke: wow! I have both! I am gonna skim through them more attentively ;)

I would suggest listening to your public radio station, i started to notice the use of sat words ALOT in their discussions and reports, and it helped to hear them in context.
