I have a big problem in passage reading in CR. I always end up around 500 with more than half of the passage reading question wrong. Do you guys have any tips/tricks, so I can raise my CR score to 650?
Please also tell me how(fast) you read passage and answer questions

It doesn’t matter how fast you can read a passage. What’s important is how fast you can comprehend a passage. Reading and comprehending are two very different things.

To condition your brain to the difficult passages of the SAT Critical Reading section, read a difficult book (let’s say Plato’s Republic or the Age of Innocence) and annotate after each chapter… that is, just write a quick summary on a sticky note about the chapter you just read. (If you’re also having trouble with vocab, identify words you don’t know and-if you bought the book- write a short definition next to it, and if you didn’t buy the book, write it down somewhere along with the word.

This helped me tremendously, improving my grade from low 600s to low to mid 700s.

This will help your mind compute the difficult vocabulary and meaning of the chapters in order for you to prepare yourself for the complexity of the passages. Of course, SAT CR passages aren’t complex, but with the burden of time and sometimes confusing multiple choices you might very well say that with those circumstances, the passages can be a bit difficult to some people.

My mistakes are stupid mistakes because I don’t read carefully enough.
