I hope to finish To Kill A Mockingbird before the summer ends.

Started and finished since summer began: Alice in Wonderland, Tess of the D’Urbervilles, The Poisonwood Bible

Must finish before school starts: Jane Eyre for AP Lit (which I’ve read already), The Bible as Literature (out of print book) for AP Lit

Checked Out from the Library as well but will probably renew for about a month before I even start: Catch-22

For AP Lit:

How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C. Foster
The Best Early Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald
In Our Time by Ernest Hemingway

Gah. The book was not hard to read in terms of difficulty, but I remember strongly disliking it. (I read it last October for AP Lang.) The guy spoils the plots of certain books he mentions (Beloved by Toni Morrison, which I was about to read then, comes to mind), and on that line, seems to mention the same writers over and over.

AOM hated that book

^ That book was beast. lol

**search older posts, **
they contain some very good indeed recommendations.

^ fact.
