Reading suggestions for ACT

Some will tell you to read the passage first, while Princeton Review tells you to do the questions first. In the past, I got 35's on the practice reading exam reading the passage first, but one the real ACT, I got a 25. Do you think I should follow Princeton or my own way?
Thanks.

It sounds like you might just have had a bad day (or practiced with too much time). I’d try a few more practice sections with your method before switching methods.

I personally skimmed for the subject of the passage, then went straight to the questions, but this doesn’t work for everyone.
