Okay My son’s BroncoDirect said "Waitlist " on Fri 3/27. Now today Monday 3/30 it says “Pending Space Availability”. Did they just change their wording?
I think it just means that he accepted the waitlist

@rmharvey I got wait listed on the 25th and my app status says the same thing 
@ezioauditore we are most likely waitlisted or rejected but I dunno we’ll see I guess. I think all computer science majors at this point dont have much a chance
@shadelz I know about 10 people that applied for CS, including me, and only 1 got accepted. All these people I know are ridiculously smart and are completely shocked at being waitlisted.
To prove you’re point even further…yah…we dont have a chance T_T

Seriously CAL POLY?! It is April 1st and still no decision?? I called and they said they would have them by mid April. Top Ivy leagues gave out their decisions already and Cal Poly still hasn’t! This really makes me want to submit my SIR to UCR now.

Did anyone hear anything new? I mean I feel like they’ve been giving the generic answer “Admissions are rolling until the end of April” But is there actually a cut off date where they give us an answer regarding the “ready for decision” status? I’ve heard Mid April
Well, you have to make a decision (assuming you’re accepted) by May 1st so I would assume they give you some kind of advanced notice but who knows. The email response I got was super vague and simply said “the end of April”.
FINALLY! I was denied and accepted alllll at once… I have been “ready for decision” since December and just now was accepted to my alternate major… I had applied to the Biology/Botany impacted program and looked at my portal just now and was accepted to my alternate choice of Plant Science. I am disappointed obviously, but still happy to have a place to go in the Fall. Only thing is that my Plant Science program did NOT require the 1 year of General Biology… 1 year of General Physics… Calculus…(completed all those classes already, YUK) orrr the Microbiology class that I’m currently in and is quite hard in itself… UMmm OK, I guess learning is fun so…
