Real ACT practice test VS real test

I got a 36M and a 34E on my first two practice sections, first times I've ever looked at a practice test. My question is, can I expect these scores on the real test? (is the real thing any harder/easier than the Real ACT Practice book?)

They are supposed to be about the same level of difficulty, since they are previously administered tests, so I think it’s fair to expect to get approximately those scores on the actual test.

thanks sir!

Although the tests are supposed to be the same difficulty, you have to remember that the conditions upon which you are taking them are completely different. You are in the comfort of your own home vs. at a school. You can take them at anytime at home vs. early am. At home you can take a section at a time when you feel like it (not on a set date and time), etc. Also, you have a different stress level when you are doing a practice test vs. a real test. So you also have to take these factors into account. This is why many people do worse on the real test than on practice tests.

Probably around + 2 / -3 of the real score.

thanks ohio/blah blah. I’m trying to simulate test day conditions as much as possible in my practice tests. I wake up early on a saturday or sunday and give myself about a half hour then take all of them in succession with the breaks that they do on the real test.Stress shouldn’t be a big deal as I’m just taking this to bolster my app, I have a decent SAT to fall back on if this doesn’t go well. Thanks again
