Just wondering about if The Real ACT Prep Guide tests give a good prediction of scores. I took the the first English test in the book after I read the English section of that book and received a grade of 22. I then studied the English section of The Princeton Review's Cracking the ACT book. I took the second English test in the official book and got another 22... But today, a week after taking the second test, I took the third English section and received a 30. I just don't really know what grade I can expect on the test this Saturday.
Are people's scores really similar to what they got on the practice tests?

I consistantly got around a 31-33 in the practice tests from the Real ACT Guide and got a 30 on the real thing. But that is only because I was lenient on timing when I practiced...

I hope they are realistic because i just got a perfect math score

They are supposed to be real ACT tests though

Hmmmm okay:) Thanks for the response! I have beent iming myself and I really don't know what I did wrong the first two times. I only had like 2-3 minutes left after those, but after this one I had 13 minutes left over. Either this test was just easy or I became a lot more confident and know the rules better.

The book's a good gauge for all of the tests except for science. The science on the current ACT tests is much harder than the sections in the "Real" ACT book.

what madboy said.

I got a 32 on the first real ACT, 31 on the second, and 33 on the third.

Got a 33 on the actual thing.

I think they're pretty accurate in predicting your composite.

Some are good, some are horrid. TPR is usually pretty good, but Sparknotes.......eh.

Sparknotes said I would fail the AP Chem and US Govt exams (which I didn't; I got a 4 and a 5 respectively.)

^but sparknotes also said i would get 660-680 on USH SAT II. I havent gotten my score back, but from comparing answers with others, it seems pretty spot on.
