<p>it seems like most schools have the real estate major in the department of finance. so if i wanted to work in the real estate field and went to a school without a real estate major i should do finance right?</p>

<p>Lots of jobs in commercial re and investments. You don't need to major in RE to do residential though it would not hurt either. Commercial is mostly finance with lots of economics thrown in. Pretty interesting and you get to see the results of your work years later. </p>
