yeah.. im in Chicago and I received mine. nothing special really.

The certificate is great though

im a little bit sad because i dont get to go to any of the receptions because im a transfer student and i cant get away because im so far away from any of them. i guess those are the perks for the kids who choose pepperdine in the first place..

i thought the certificate was funny.

My D was a transfer, don't worry, there will be plenty of wonderful days ahead for you at Pepperdine!

I didn't get to go to the reception either....and i'm a first year...flight from Chicago is too expensive...

If you choose Pepperdine, they have a great new student orientation which will help you become familiar with all there is to do and the campus...I believe it includes a trip to the beach too. If a parent attends, I can attest that the parent orientation was great too!

My son got a e-mail for acceptance on 4-1 but never got a letter or packet.

Call or email admissions. Did you get the email about the Reception for admitted students?

yes we got the e-mail for the reception, although we didn't go because we live out of state and my son had just visited campus on thurs and fri.

I just got mine today in NJ. Someone earlier posted that theirs came via UPS but mine was delivered by the regular mail, if anyone was wondering.

I am an international student in China. They sent the packages via UPS to international students.
