better chance in CAS or engineering?
I want to get into Molecular Biology or Bio/Biomedical engineering</p>

<p>By numbers, you are better than most so you should be fine, but with these things you never know for certain. As for the CAS vs eng it just depends on what you want to do.</p>

<p>… Though I’d say for getting a 4 in Calc BC you’d better be off just sticking with CAS. There is no BME major at Cornell, only a BME concentration for Eng students mostly in ChemE and BioE. BioE is also a garbage major in a building half way across campus that’s filled with mostly old people.</p>

<p>Assuming both programs interest you equally, I’d say slight edge to CAS on chances, given your breadth of interests indicated by your ECs. If you are a female (sorry, can’t tell from the post), then apply to CoE. If you are going to apply to CAS, you really should buy into the whole liberal arts education. Far too often I see people complaining about the CAS graduation requirements because they wanted to only do hard science in college (or only humanities or whatever). As a CAS alum, I thought the distribution/breadth were a plus, not a minus and some of my best classes were those random ones that had nothing to do with my academic/career goals.</p>
