Realistic chance of getting in?

So, VTech is my backup school, I have no idea why since it's the best in-state for Engineering, but yeah. <-- if you couldn't tell, I'm applying to Engineering :/.

GPA, Weighted: 3.95.
- Freshman: 3.60 (Weighted)
- Sophomore: 4.2 (Weighted)
- Junior: 4.2 (Weighted)
- 1st quarter Senior: 4.5 (Weighted).

Taking 5 AP's this year (AP Micro Econ, AP Macro Econ, AP BC Calculus, AP Computer Science, AP Government). 2 AP's last year (AP Chemistry, 4, AP US History, 3), and HN Precalc.

SAT's are 1950, 680 Math, 630 CR =1310.

Applying to Computer Science, from Fairfax County. Did one of those optional statements things.

VT is probably a match for you. You’re solidly in the middle 50% for SAT and GPA. Being from Fairfax will hurt.

Yeah, I kind of figured Tech will take me, but I’m more concerned about the Engineering department. Would I be a reasonable/average fit there?

@chuy, I’m also from Fairfax County. What did you meant by being from Fairfax will hurt? I too am trying to get in to e school at VT.

fairfax is a competetive county + not enough sweet tea to go around
