Based on the reach schools your’e applying to I would say try to bring your GPA up if possible. Also a 33 composite score is fantastic if u apply as an undecided students, but since you’re going under liberal arts and econ I guess I would say 34 would be like the end zone type of score where you’re acceptance is guaranteed, but 33 is a really good score and try the new SAT if possible since You do have time and you’re a junior right know.

You are a junior- it is too late to make a serious dent in your GPA by August/Sept when you apply to schools. You need to work with what you have. The good news is that you are a good student- congrats! The “bad” news is that you live in an over represented geographic area that is packed with very strong applicants, and your GPA ( although good) and ECs ( depending) will hold you back from many of these schools.

I do not see safety schools on your list. Also- your target list has some reach schools, and your reach list is way too reachy.

As a junior you have time to make some changes. Good luck!

  • I just read that you did not include your safeties. If you have some true safeties that you like, can afford, and are sure you will get into, you are free to take some risks.
