Realistic chances?

You have to be confident and have faith in yourself. If you don’t apply, you will never know whether or not you will get in, so that would be a definite 0%. But then, if you apply, even though is a very big reach, at least you still have a chance for it. I would say, you have to believe in yourself and think positively, ALWAYS!

SATs scores are not a big thing, it’s just a requirement when you apply. Numbers never help the colleges to determine who you are, because you only spent 3 hours and 45 mins on the test. As what others said above, recs letters and essays are major components of your application, and they DO tell who you are, your personality, character, and etc. So, you should definitely spend a lot of time on it, and try your BEST. I know even though the deadline is pretty close from now, but be sure when you write the essays, put aside all your feelings of you might be upset if you won’t get in. Lastly, GOOD LUCK W/ THE APPLICATION! :D
