(I know Stanford is probably a no. I figured I'd give it a shot.)</p>

<p>Major: Computer Science.</p>

<p>GPA (unweighted) 3.74
GPA (weighted on 4 scale) 4.3
SAT: 1850
SAT II Chemistry - Don't know yet.
SAT II Math - Don't know yet.
APs: Literature(4), Language, Calculus AB, Chemistry, Art History, US History
(Every AP offered at my school)</p>

Track and Field
Paid Tech Internship
Church activity, including worship team
Guitar(teacher)</p>

<p>Awards
NHS
Will graduate with honors </p>

<p>Letters of recommendation
-Guidance Counselor, Vice Principal & AP Lit teacher - Beyond Excellent
-Principal and AP Calc teacher - Good
-Internship...boss I guess - Great</p>

<p>As for me, on the CommonApp I tried to show my passions/skills and versatility. I actually might have a good shot at Columbia due to some connections there. But, I'd like to get a good look at my chances for the others mainly.</p>

<p>Extremely unlikely/unrealistic for Stanford and Columbia (your GPA/SAT is just too low). CMU, UCLA and UCB will be high reaches. Can’t speak for the rest.</p>

<p>Your GPA is a little low but what really what kills you is your SAT score…</p>

<p>Also it seems that you have minimal leadership and community service.</p>

<p>Hey as you probably have figured out your SAT will hinder you on this quest. However, don’t give up!
Columbia ED - Sorry to let you down, most likely not.
UCBerkeley?- Reach, one of my friends has a 1780 and he got in.
UCLA - Reach
USC- Hard Reach
Cal Poly- Slight Reach
Stanford -Sorry
UMichigan- Reach
Carnegie Mellon - Reach</p>
