I was wondering if these were good and realistic college choice for when i apply.

Columbia
University of Florida
NYU
George Washington University
Florida State University
University of Chicago

I hope to do something with either business, law or politics and i would really enjoy an urban setting. Any comments or recommendations?

Yea, those look like pretty good choices.

If you want business and an urban setting, it doesn't get any better than Penn. It would be a reach but you might as well apply.

yeah, it looks like you have a good range of schools. i would try for some more safties/low matches that you would really enjoy though. but thats really good as a starting list, much better than mine was

Yea well i figure I can defiantly get into FSU and hopefully UF. I know in state i get great financial aid so it would be really tough for anything but a high quality school to beat UF or FSU when i get close to a full ride.

I'd say that NYU is a pretty good target school for you. Columbia and Chicago look like reaches to me, the others look quite safe. Maybe you could consider another target school or two.
