Realistic Expectations?

I'm currently a rising Mexican American senior from Atlanta Georgia. I just took the SAT for the first time in May (I know slightly late) and got a 2080. My stats and college list are as follows, and I would greatly appreciate anyone who could "chance me" (as the forum parlance goes) for the colleges I am looking at. I really appreciate any help that could be offered and am more than willing to chance anyone who answers and needs it.

GPA: 3.7 (aprox) unweighted, 3.8 weighted (We don't know class ranks yet, but I think mine's top 15-10%)

SAT: 2080
CR:800
M: 580
W: 700 (11 on essay)

ECs and School activities:

staff writer for the newspaper junior year (guest senior)
Captain of Model UN (I've been to national and international conferences freshman year)
CoCapt. for debate team (and letterman)
Member of the school Honor Council (we uphold the student honor code and judge violations)
LIT at Summer Camp freshman year
Tutor for local underprivileged primary schoolers in reading
Volunteer at local parrish library
Member of STAND (human rights organization)
One of my school's representatives to local Anti-Defamation League Conference

Awards and Honors:

Principal's list 3 times thusfar (award for maitaining weighted gpa of 94.5% or higher)
National Hispanic Merit Scholar (probably commended national merit)
Phi Beta Kappa Book Award winner this year (for outstanding scholarship)
AP US History student Award
Published multiple times in award winning student literary magazine

School List:
Brown (dad was a TA, super reach but I can still hope)
U.Chicago (dad got his PHD in economics there, more his fav than mine)
Tufts
Berkeley (or possibly UCLA)
Pitzer
Emory
Reed
Grinnell
Macalester
New College of Florida
Clark (Worcester)

I know it's something of a broad list, but I still need to make some visits and narrow it down. I'm leaning toward LAC, but only ones which have good grad school placement. In college I'm planning on studying either History, Philosophy,Psychology, or IR.

Sorry about the long post, and once again any help would be most appreciated

Oh I forgot to mention I scored an 800 on the World History SAT II, and 28 on ACT (retaking ACT and taking SAT II Lit in June.) I’m also dyslexic, lived in Mexico for the first 5 years of my life (though only I’m only roughly conversational in Spanish now) and am pretty good at writing essays.

I’m also taking 8 AP classes in high school as well as 2 honors

Apart from the Ivys, which would be reaches, I think you have a really good shot at all the schools on that list. And honestly, I think you have a pretty good shot at Brown, as well. :)

Other than the ivie which are so unpredictable, I think you have great chance at the others. They will love your diverse background and stats. Luck!
**ps chance me:)

Being a high scoring minority will get you into average places, but for a more prestigious school it won’t cut it. Raise your gpa a bit and you should be absolutley fine-even if you don’t raise it you can still get into some. Keep up the good work and see if you can get some other activities in outside Of school and try for leadership positions.
Good job and good luck!

Chance me back please? =)

i think if you can get your math up around the 670-700 range, you have a shot anywhere. just make sure your essays are good. also, consider trying the ACT. some people like that math better because it is more straightforward - they aren’t trying to trick you. good luck!
