Would it be realistic to self study from AMSCO and be ready for the November SATIIs? forgive me for being naive if this seems like a stupid question; i know theres a lot of material :-P. thanks guys

Definitely. I essentially self studied in a few weeks using AMSCO+Spark Notes+Crash Course (the second two are more review-based as opposed to teaching you the material thoroughly).

Thanks! Did you have a sort of study plan or was it just read when you can?

brian

I’m studying for US History and Chemistry in October and I’m doing about two chapters a day in AMSCO and then reviewing what I’ve learned in Crash Course.

thanks hoptkins!

what is AMSCO?

…the link to ‘United States History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination’…aka the infamous AMSCO, it’s cheaper on their website than on amazon.

I think I will also order this to self study for subject tests in Oct…does anyone have any opinions about this vs. Barron’s (AP or SAT II US history), should i get both AMSCO and Barron’s? If so, which Barron’s?
