Case
Boston U

Is this a balanced list? Also, are my chances at Yale and Stanford realistic? Thanks everyone

yeah its realistic, go for it.

As realistic as anyone else's. Go for it, I'm sure you'll make at least a few out of your list.

I'm replying because you look a little like me - Ohio, and some of the specifics. You obviously know that's a realistic list - if you go to a school with dorm prefects you've seen which kids go where. I'm guessing the school is Western Reserve Academy - mostly b/c that's the first boarding school that comes to mind. (If I was a real loser I could find my Ohio AMC packet and find out for sure).

Just out of curiosity - Why didn't you take Math 2?

Ohio helps a little, asian hurts a little, my analysis though is that your app comes down to essays and teacher recs.

williams book award, pretty damn impressive. def go for it, good luck!

Yep, I go to WRA...I actually did take the Math II, but I forgot to list it on there (oops). 780 Math II. Where do you go?

Anyone else have any thoughts on my list?

how is the lacrosse team at WRA looking this year? :)

i know they are always a national power

We'll be as competitive as always, I think, although we graduated our goalie this past year...he was really good.

I go to lake ridge academy - the only interaction we have w/ you guys that I can think of is JETS actually.

Who knows, maybe I'll see you at JETS this year or something :)
Anyone else have any thoughts or advice for me?

BU's a huge spread out college. Make sure you visit and do an overnight with peers. Seems like a safety school for you.
Yale sounds like a fair shot. I agree with above; if you write a great essay and get great rec's, you're in.
Also; how about Williams or Dartmouth or Harvard? Or MIT, though you may be TOO well rounded.
