Realistic Transfer Possibilities/Should I wait to transfer?

I just started my second semester at a community college in Noth Carolina(I am a resident of North Carolina) . I have 25 credits right now and am currently taking 14 credit hours, all of which fulfill core requirements. I have a 4.0 GPA and I just got done working my first shift at my first job. I also plan on joining Phi Theta Kappa when the spring sign-ups begin. I graduated high school in May of 2009 with a unweighted GPA of 3.09 taking college-prep coursework(I had a 2.0 after my sophomore year). My HS EC's are also scarce, but I did attend three different high schools in three different states because of my father's job. I plan on doing Physics or some type of Engineering because I am seeking a strong math background with a major that teaches how to solve real world problems so I can leave my options open for graduate school. I am first wondering what colleges I could realistically get into(they can be in or out of the state of North Carolina). Also, I am wondering if I should stay at CC for the fall 2010 semester and try to get a leadership role in a club? Any guidance or information would be incredibly appreciated.

PS: I did get a 31 on the ACT(33-Math, English, 30- Science, 26-Reading)...I don't know if this matters for transfer students.

to be competitive for good schools, you will need to make your HS stats matter less, so you’ll want to try to transfer as a junior. keep up the good grades and start researching schools so you know what classes are required for transfers before matriculating
