Realistic?

I want to get a Bizecon major with computing specialization, accounting minor, and Chinese or Japanese minor.

Would I be able to graduate in 4 years if I tried to get a statistics minor as well? Is UCLA math killer for your GPA?

Is there any sort of quantative minor that has less intense requirements? Stats minor asks for 31A-33B and 7 Upper division stats classes.

A bizecon major with accounting minor and Chinese/Japanese minor is definitely possible. With computing specialization would be kind of hard, you'll probably need summer classes and/or 4 classes a quarter. I doubt you'll be able to fit in a stats minor withing 4 years.

^the only reason that's possible is because an accounting minor with a bizecon major means only 3 extra classes you'll have to take :)

11 classes (31A and 31B is included in bizecon) would mean 3 quarters, which you might be able to do if you give up Chinese/Japanese minor and computing specialization. Try looking up all the requirements and mapping it all out.

That's half the math minor, I think.

It might be harder, and your GPA might drop a bit, but I wouldn't let that deter you.

Oh, and the Japanese/Chinese minors are a lot of coursework and time. Don't take them likely. It's 11 courses (1 to 6 + 100 series and 2 electives.) That's a lot of time and memorizing kanji/hanzi...

Eh, maybe I should have clarified a bit more. I should probably be able to clear out of the 1-6 series. I have actually learned enough (hopefully) to easily complete the computing specialization. Just need to take the classes for credit. I have also decided against the statistics minor and will probably do the math minor instead.

You will clear out of the 1-6 series of both? If so, then you're in great shape for a minor in either one.

Eh not sure, but hopefully. I have a JLPT 2 certificate, and well I have a 800 on the Chinese SAT if that counts for anything. Roughly like 6th grade level in Chinese...

The math minor is the real beast. I am not looking forward to more calculus...

Oh, then you'd easily pass out of 1-6 in both...as long as you remember your characters.
