I was waitlisted this year by LS&A until early July, and then rejected a few days ago. Basically, I am in-state, 28 ACT, 3.8 GPA(top 10-15% in my class), 2050 SAT (basic summary of my stats I had legitimate EC's, essays, etc.) I am wondering realistically how difficult it is to transfer into U of M? Also, I'm going to Michigan State in the fall and would like to know what GPA/activities I should shoot for in order to attain my goal of transferring to Michigan LS&A.

Get as close as you can to a 4.0 and I think you have a good shot.

What he said. Get a high GPA and you have a shot. I don't hear much about people transferring from a school like MSU, but it seems like it isn't that difficult to transfer from a in-state CC if you have the grades.

*AN in-state

cringes

(Sorry, couldn't just let that one pass. Feel free to correct any of my past blemishes.)

haha ok...I edited the sentence from "a Michigan CC" and did not correct that.
