Realistically speaking - Advice required

Hello College Confidential community, I'm here on behalf of concerns that I've been going through lately and I need someone else's opinion and input.

I am a student at Santa Monica College (may as well say was) and the semester just ended. This is my third semester. GPA is 1.8 , very low for anything and I feel my life is over. I am serious about school but with these grades, it clearly reflects that I'm not. I have received financial aid for all three semesters and was placed on Academic Probation for failing to achieve a 2.0 min.

I have been lurking through these forums and Google for an answer for my questions but I can't seem to find one.

What are my chances realistically?

I have been placed on Financial Aid Disqualification at SMC , if I apply at another community college for the following semester will I receive financial aid or be approved for BOG FEE waiver? Money is an issue for me so I've been trying my best to find a job.

Will my GPA reset if I plan to transfer to a new community college?(Pasadena City College) since the credits won't transfer as they are under 2.0.

I am in need of an answer. Any help would be wonderful.

Anyone able to provide advice?

Maybe before you do all that, try and see about some outside scholarships?..
