well...I have a chronic problem where I lose stuff....
last year I went through 8 pencil pouches b/c i repetitively lost them
and this year same thing is happening...except its my school books, and folders (and I take verry copious notes during class and at home from online... and lets say no one else in my class does...)

I keep telling myself...don't lose it! don't lose it!
but it's not working...
any suggestions????

Put pencils in your pocket. screw pouches. and buy book sox/binders in obnoxious neon colors. and don't put things down all the time; keep them in hand until you reach your desk, locker, etc.

I have the same problem to a lesser extent. Try to notice when you take stuff out of your backpack/pencil case/whatever you have to take stuff out of, and when you're done with whatever you're doing, consciously think about whether you have everything.

Yeah, I used to lose things, wallet, notes, and whatnot. Just before you finishing packing, double check everything around your desk. I have a chronic tendency to that action, thus never losing any of my personal belongings. It's actually serious, after I get up from my desk, I actually look back as I saunter out the classroom, haha.

I also have a serious problem with losing stuff. The worst was when I lost a $107 check a few weeks ago. Still havent found it. 16 hours of work..down the drain. :(

I don't reccomend putting pencils in your pocket. As a fellow person that constantly loses stuff they will probably fall out or you will send them through the washer(not necessarily a bad thing unless they get lost during sorting/folding).

Does anyone else here use an accordion folder? I started in 8th grade and have never looked back. The one pet peeve is that any papers that are smaller or folded can dissapear under other paper. You can also store pencils in them too.
