Really bad SAT score!

I took November SAT and got 1570! It was my first and last, because December SAT is not available now. Nonetheless, I want to study in US; If I enroll in community college, do I have any chance of getting financial aid after transferring to any university?

if all else fails the last you can do is drop a year. i wont recommend that though. hope you make somewhere. wish you luck.

Some schools will take January test scores, if Jan test is available where you are.

GOD! I even dropped my university this year to take exams - used up my tuition for taking exams, and preparing for exam. If I apply next year, I will be 20.

which country do you live in btw?

Mongolia mongolia

awesomeness.

Post your question in the international students forum on CC.

Ask if you have strong grades and recommendations, what your chance would be if you applied to SAT optional schools: Bates and Bowdoin, for example. There are lists of SAT optional schools that you can search for on CC. Did you take subject tests? If those were good, it might help.

Right now, I’m planning to take January SAT, and I’ll consider these colleges. Thanks anyways :)
