bumpppppp

anyone?

i started a business. it failed. =D

the coolest EC i have is probably coming in 9th at Science Olympiad Nationals for Food Science.

Joining a local Humanism group (outside of school, my friend and I are the only student members)

How do you start a business anyway? It seems very hard to do all that legal stuff...

Probably my speech and debate club, it's crazy fun...

I'm creating a DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) Club at my school for next year.

I started my own business and it's worked out well so far, and yeah its fun

The most fun EC that i do is DECA international competition is CrAZy fun!

How exactly would you go about starting a business?
I design clothes and bags for myself and friends, and I was thinking about trying to sell them online this summer.

I tried bagpiping for a year. Pretty intense stuff, but it was just too hard for me.

pfft.
starting a business is for losers.
i started 2 :-P

hmm
teaching sailing in sweden in the summers is pretty schweet too

oh alamode - I can do a business startup counseling/e-commerce web site combo for $150 for you ;)

haha. do me for $90.

that sounds misleading. ill give you 90 procastinate. =)

Well, if you're just selling a small amount of clothes, you might want to try selling them through eBay. In addition to the start up fees, you'll have to pay web-hosting fees each month (and these are a lot if you get a good webhost). However, if you have enough a large mass of clothes, having a website would probably be a good idea.

Well starting up a business isn't that hard if you want to do minimal stuff. Usually all it takes is a merchant account and a credit card for start-up hahaa. The real tricky aspect is when you want to move to an LLC or get a trademark, or deal with intellectual property copyright.

Most of the kids who start businesses don't even follow a lot of these laws ahhaahha, but since most HS kids start businesses without having the full passion to make it their lifelong niche, it's highly unlikely that the government will catch (and punish if catch) an underaged kid.

Now, if you're an adult... :) hahahah

Oh, I ran the marathon. 26.2 miles and never on a sports team before in my life. It hurt. I'll never do it again, hahahh

well, my dad runs a small business deals with computers/web programming/a bunch of other related things that I don't know what they are, but I do know that he has servers or whatever and hosts websites for lots of different companies. So the website part isn't the problem.
I was more concerned about the laws.
:P
I'm 15 though. 0=)
my dad would know, but he's on a business trip (go figure)

congressional intern, or founding a random acts of kindness club. good times. :-)

oh yeah congressional intern for me too
this summer :D

and yeah i'm registered and pay taxes and stuff, it's a bit of a pain but it's good to learn how to do

and i've got reliable quality web hosting starting at $10/month, so ha

ambition: 90's really low - even 150's a stretch - but i'll do you for that if i'm bored i guess, hit me up at info@cloud9webdesign.com
