I am currently a junior becoming a senior and I want to do finance or economics.
I currently have a 4.25 weighted GPA 3.89 UW GPA
My act score is a 30, super-scored to a 31
Have taken 3 AP tests, Gov-4 Physics B-4 and USH-5 and will be taking Calc BC, Physics C, Both Econs, and Lit and most likely will get 4-5 on all of them
I am a part of NHS, MECS(an environmental club) and a leadership position, CEC(helping children with mental disabilities with after school activities) and have 50+ hours of community service and a recipient of the presidential education award.
I am seriously stressing out about what schools to look into. I am going to see USC, UCLA, UCB, UIUC, U of C, UNC Chapel hill, University of Michigan, University of Virginia, NYU(shoe-in), Cornell, Duke, Emory, Stanford, and Bowdoin(Shoe-in).
I currently reside in Illinois and don't think i have a real shot at any of the schools listed above. What schools should I be looking into to give me more of a chance to be accepted?

i can only speak for the UC’s. I think you’re going to have a hard time, and it’s going to be a slight reach, because of your average test scores. However if your essays are golden, then you have a good chance!

Really I was looking and a superscored 31 is in the upper 60%'s

Oh and my essay was a 10/12 on the act.

Ugh you’re so lucky about bowdoin. Ik this is irrelevant haha sorry

yeah you are in for the UC’s. You are def in top percents for your test scores, which are EXTREMELY GOOD Scores. Not even above average, but phenomenal scores in the top 97 percentile in the country

The problem with Bowdoin is its only a liberal arts school and doesn’t have much name recognition.
