I have the Zumdahl textbook and people have suggested NMSI and Khan Academy, but can anyone recommend any other resources? I'm really looking for something with a lot of good practice problems and thorough explanations because I feel like I'm good at understanding the concepts, but not so good at applying them to complex problems. Any help would be appreciated! :)

I studied for the AP test with both the Princeton Review & Barron’s books. This was a very successful combination for me.

My suggestions are Barron’s and PR too. Barron’s is slightly better.

Are you open to videos?
We use Bozeman science for AP Bio and he’s GREAT. He recently started an AP Chem line and I think it’d be worth taking a look at. I wish I had him as a resource when I took it!

Do you guys know if the PR 2012 edition is okay? 2014 doesn’t come out for a while and 2013 is ridiculously expensive right now! And @whodatgirl, thanks, I’ll check him out! :D

[Unit 2 Lecturer 2](Unit 2 Lecturer 2)

Check out this guy’s video lectures. Goes over pretty much everything covered in an AP Chem course and works some problems. Great teacher

Are any of you self studying?

Not me. Do you guys know of any other resources?

I know you mentioned it, but I just wanted to emphasize to others that NMSI has a lot of great video explanations, notes, and practice problems, all in one place! They’re even updating everything to match the new AP Chemistry curriculum.

^That resource is excellent. Thank you!
