<p>When you transfer, does the place where your transferring take into account how prestigious the school is. I.e., is applying for a transfer from UVA with 3.6 into another school, say (Cornell or Northwestern), more likely to get in than an applicant with a 3.6 from a lesser school than UVA?</p>

<p>thanks alot for the response! also, if I had applied last year and got in, and am applying for a transfer this year, how much would that increase my chances of getting in if I apply for a transfer?</p>
