Really? Is It Really?

^^^ There was an earlier thread asking how students deal with all of the requirements, but no one ever responded. When I checked the catalogue, it seemed burdensome and the requirements remain a concern, although D will probably apply.

Here’s what I found: not only are there a lot of individual requirements, but some, like the English and foreign language, just be satisfied by more than one course. I did see that some courses satisfy more than one requrement, but often they satisfy the same overlapping requirements. And even with a couple of courses satisfying more than one requirement, it looks like 9-10 requried courses or 6-8 courses if if one places out of the foreign lang requirement, but that’s still close to two full years of required courses!

I’d really like to know how students deal with this.

Thanks for your answer, foolishpleasure. I guess I was talking about the types of students more than anything else, but you’re definitely right about those differences; never thought much about it before.
