Really low PSAT score

So this is kind of a vent, but input would be really helpful.
So I got my PSAT scores back, and though I knew I wouldn't do wonderfully, I had expected to do better than I did. 134, that's in the 50 percent....
Thing is, I'm taking epileptic meds and they have "dumbing" effects on you. Adding, subtracting and multiplying are like at 5th grade level again. And I'm having a lot of trouble in my current math class (geometry honors). We've changed meds about 3 times, but things don't seem to be working well.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't worry to much about psat scores. My psat score during my junior year was 168. I recently scored a 33 on the ACT. As you can see, my scores jumped significantly. Maybe the ACT would be better for you than the SAT.

Don't worry, try not to stress out. The experience will only make you better and motivate you in the long run. The meds... hmmm... they could prove to be troublesome in school. How bad is your condition?

It isn't bad, I'm not a full epileptic, or gran mal. I'm a petit mal, just get blank out at times. But if I'm not treated now, I could develop seizures later.
I know I shouldn't worry. It's just that even now, I have trouble taking tests. I take long and I don't want this to harm my chances. And I will most likely be taking both the SAT and ACT just in case.

PSATs dont mean anything for colleges. At least compared to ACT or SATs

Brutal PSAT curves make it so that most people do better on the actual SAT.

You're a sophomore, right? So these scores don't count for anything. You've got plenty of time to figure out how to handle the situation - if there's a combination of meds that will work better, if you can request special accomodations, etc. Plus, if you're in Geometry right now you probably don't know all the math that's on the exam. Give yourself time to learn that and study if necessary.

If you have trouble taking tests, definitely check to see whether you're eligible for special accomodations. When you start applying to colleges you should ask your GC to explain this as well.

yeah the PSAT curves are insane! but am i really expected to do better on the SAT than PSAT? cuz i got a 240 i thought SAT scores would def. go down
