Hi, i'm hoping someone could help me with my college choice. AND i really need help with this!
either:

NYU
Boston college
St. louis university (the med scholars program-not too sure cause i hear that it's program's not 100% guranteed even if you keep up the GPA)

I aiming to go into medicine in the future so science is what i'm looking for...

Boston College (depending on who you are). Best academic combination (access to professors and good recommendations are critical to med school admissions) plus the most holistic experience. NYU just isn't college to me, its living in NYC and taking classes.

id go to BC because i really didn't like the fact that NYU has no campus. i would say academics are about the same, but BC is a lot smaller. both have access to amazing cities. i think BC will give you the "college experience". people i know that went to nyu say that it was very lonely and stressful for them.

I go to BC and volunteered for an admitted student day this past weekend, so I had to sit in on a premed panel. It was actually quite interesting, and if the only thing holding you back is being unsure about the sciences, know that they seemed really strong. For example, the nat'l average MCAT for accepted med students was a 10.10 and the GPA was like 3.6... but like 90 percent of BC students who had at least a 9 on the MCAT and 3.3 GPA got accepted to med school. also, the advisor's really really great and quite organized. plus, you really do get the "traditional" college experience here with big time sports, a suburban campus, top notch academics, and the city right at your doorstep. go with BC!
