Really Need Help on CR

ok I took the SAT in january that was my first try and i did really bad. I got a 720 math 480 critical reading and 520 writing.
I was really really disappointed because before i took the test, i could usually get a 650 to around 700 in writing and 500 to around 590 in critical reading.
I have used Collegeboard, Princeton Review, Sparknotes, Barrens, and some Kaplans.
Yes i think i did a lot of practices, but since English is my second language so i have to work double harder. Now I don't know what to do because my practise scores are still around 650 to 700 for writing and 500 to 590 for reading.
I just don't know how to raise my Critical Reading over 600.
Anyone please help me? what should i do?? i did so many practice tests and still not improving.
I am redoing the Collegeboard book.
Should i do more practices? but which book should i use now?

I take it you are doing the SAT for college? Check if your college will allow you to take the TOEFL instead, since English is your second language.

Other than that, I think you can improve if you read a lot of English works. Read novels, plays, etc... the harder the better. It will come a lot more naturally that way than by reading review books. You will notice the conventions of the language and internalize them by reading.
