Hey, I want to transfer to Fordham University.

I have been in community college for two years..54 credits with a 3.8 GPA. Problem is, I graduated high school with low 2.4 or so GPA. I see they still make you submit your high school transcript.

Will that weigh heavily against me? I really want to go to this school!!

I'm not a 100% sure but i think that may even help you. Colleges should see you've turned ur academics around and have shown great improvement. You should mention like that on your essay/personal statement.

Thanks guys!! I got this e-mail from Fordham, so I'm ok now..

"While transfer students must submit their high school transcript, they will be reviewed primarily on their college work. We generally look for a 3.0 GPA over consecutive semesters.

Thank you for your continued interest in Fordham University."
