Really need help with determining GPA

Read about 20 tutorials on how to get your GPA, I'm currently trying to get my freshman year GPA at my high school.

If you guys could convert this for me

Freshman Year:
Grammar - 91
Geometry - 81
Philosophy - 97
Italian - 93
History - 99
Astronomy -97
Latin I - 91
Theology - 95
Great Books - 96

Year - In Total : 93
Can you please convert my GPA on the 4.0 scale

3.7333

Just use 93.3333/100 = x/4 and solve for x. If you have a ti89, it can be done like magic ;)

There are many different ways of calculating GPAs.

According to my school's system (A = 4, B = 3..), you'd have a 3.889.

According to another system I've seen (95+ = 4.0, 94 = 3.9, 93 = 3.8...), you'd have a 3.733.

That doesn't necessarily work lhopital.

hmm there are other ways... i guess just use the scale conversion that works best

I also got 3.7333.

my school is 90-100 is a 4

I got 3.8888888

90-100 = A = 4.0
80-89 = B = 3.0

If this was my school system, you're 3.5-3.6 unweighted.

You should ask your guidance counselor. Each school system calculates GPA differently, so none of our answers would be much help to you.

thanks for the general help guys I will be sure to ask my guidance counselor, its just she is really busy with helping seniors with college and if i ask a question she gets mad.

and we all know no one wants the counselor mad at us

lol how about asking other students?

no one knows anything at my school its really the administration that has all the knowledge. and all the seniors who applied to colleges are the biggest slackers in the world. If I asked them about how to get my GPA they would probably say "Go fu** yourself nerd"
