I'm going to be double-majoring in Film Production and some business major, but I don't know which one. Marketing seems appealing, but I'm not sure. What degree would look good to employers if it was paired with Film Production?
Also, what kind of careers or jobs would I have? Would having a second major like Film put me a step ahead of regular business majors?

I heard a rumor that i-banks are looking for film production majors!

me too!!! lmao

Honestly, dannyboy, the business major might add something to the film production major…but the film production will never add anything to the business major.

Point taken. Do you two know anything about a BA in Sustainability? I’m interested in Arizona State and they’re one of the few schools that offer this degree.

I’m not sure about ASU’s program specifically. I would always stick with a B.S. though. Once upon a time, I was enrolled in Economics and the possibilities for the B.S. were much wider than the B.A. This is pretty much the situation for every major, the B.S. will require a little more math, science and quantitative coursework. These are much more appealing to employers…

A sustainability major sounds more like an environmental science degree than a business degree. I would venture to guess that the Sustainability Program is more of an “interest” or “complementary” major as opposed to a “marketable” or “professional” one.
