match despite low-end GPA

Thank you for your reply. Finally, I can go sleep.

I don’t really think a 3.76 is a low end GPA considering the classes she is taking.

What major are you thinking about?

I think you have a pretty good shot regardless

Agree with ThisIsMichigan. U-M is match. Not a slam dunk.

i want to first get into their LSA first. Then maybe on the 3rd year of undergrad, change my major

Why on earth would you deliberately change in your 3rd year, and risk having to pay extra and not graduating on time?
Apply for the program you WANT to be in!

“i want to first get into their LSA first. Then maybe on the 3rd year of undergrad, change my major”.

What? That’s a really silly plan, don’t do that. Apply where you want to be.

It’s just that I want to get into their medical school but it’s basically impossible right now to do so with my grades. And a lot of my friends that go there now who are wanting to go to medical school got in Michigan’s LSA program first and doing the same thing. Apparantely getting into their LSA program is much easier.

^wat???
You want to get into the medical school right outta hs?

Yeah jessica, your comment confuses me… The UMich med school is for grad students only… You can go there after graduating from any university as long as you take the right classes and get high enough grades.
