Really scared chance me.

Gpa- 83
SATS- math 650 cr 470 writing 480
Rank- 152/285 one of the best public schools in NY.
Ecs- varsity soccer

Sending out applications to University of Deleware, University of Massachusetts, SUNY Stony Brook, Penn State and SUNY Oswego(safety). Also took Sats on nov 7 and won't get scores until nov 24, hopefully 700 math and 550 on reading and writing.

I might apply to Rugers as well pending my Nov 7 SAT scores.

How do you get a 650 in Math but a 470 in CR and 480 in writing?

suny oswego is hardly a safety for you, i’d out in another school just in case.

Unfortunately, your GPA is very low, you’re only in the top 50% (if even), your SAT’s are pretty subpar (if you get the 1250, then you’re in better shape) and you have one extra-curricular (unless you bogged it down with AP’s and Honors, then it’s a different story)… but right now, with the 1120:

I don’t think you’d get in anywhere else, besides Oswego, unless you have an unbelievable essay or once again boosted the transcript with AP’s/Honors

Rutgers is fine… also look into Hartford, Rhode Island, Indiana, Arizona, Arizona State, Brockport, Cortland

Hope this helps! Please chance me!!

Would I get if I get th 700 math and 550 reading and 600 writing?

Well, I’d practice writing here on these forums even if I were you. Anyhow, I’d just study for those tests and apply to a lot of reach schools that would fit you like a glove, a lot of 50/50 schools that would fit you as best as possible and then a few fallbacks that would almost certainly take you.

If you really can’t get in anywhere, I know all three Arizona schools are relatively easy to get into. If you can breath you can get into Northern Arizona University (NAU) and ASU. I know total idiots getting into those. University of Arizona is where the smart people go who want to stay in state.

If you can, find a resource with acceptance rates in all types of schools.
