I think I need more matches+safeties on my list of colleges. Any suggestions you may offer are appreciated!</p>
<p>Caucasian Male
Virginia Public School
Intended Major: Classics/Classical Studies</p>
<p>GPA UW/W: 3.7/4.2
SAT: 1400/2090. CR-750, M-650, W-690. Gonna take it again in October probably.</p>

Haverford ED
UVA
William and Mary
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
Virginia Tech (Only safety I have so far)</p>

<p>I’d recommend Alabama and or South Carolina for some extra safeties. At Bama you would get a full tuition scholarship with your SAT score and South Carolina should at least give you in-state tuition rates. </p>
<p>If you like Michigan, you may want to check out Wisconsin. It is similar and a little cheaper. They don’t give much aid to OOS kids(but UM doesn’t really either). I think you would be a match there. </p>

<p>There is a big disconnect between your ED school - Haverford - and the others on the list, which are not small liberal arts institutions. Besides a good classics department, what do you want your college experience to be like? What are the aspects of Haverford that you like? That information will help folk give you better advice.</p>
