In future I want to do JD or MBA or maybe both. With that in mind, what would you choose between UW-Madison, UTexas-Austin, and Boston U., all for Econ Major? UW is the highest in ranking but will I be able to get a job or internship at the major cities? I heard that there are large corps. around UT that heavily hire UT students. You know, I have to have a 3-5 years of work experience in order to get into the top notch B-schools...

UT hands down.

That's just straight up bad advice. You want a JD? Go to the one with the best chance of your GPA being high and then study for the LSAT. An MBA? Study hard, get a high GPA, complete internships, then tap the school's resources. Texas has a great business school, but Wisconsin's is also one of the best undergraduate B-schools in the country. Not sure about BU. As for Econ, Wisconsin has the best econ department of the three, it IS the highest ranked, and fyi Chicago/Milwaukee/Minneapolis are major cities who heavily recruit, but then again the Wisconsin graduates across the world in Hong Kong, LA, NYC, Atlanta, Columbus, Seattle, Boston, etc. would seem to have done pretty well for themselves. I'd also add that neither of these schools will give you an amazing advantage over the other because the resources will be there at all 3, the key question is whether you intend you USE them right.

Hands down? That's a really bad statement.
