Really stressing about my Senior schedule, help?

I want to get into Cockrell, but I am not sure what classes to take.

Right now I am taking Engineering H, Calculus BC, Gov AP/DC, Eng 4 AP/DC, and Euro Hist AP, but I heard from numerous people that UT prefers engineering applicants with Physics C. Should I replace Euro with physics? I am interested in Euro but I want to have a better chance at getting into Cockrell. Also, will double early release make me look lazy? My classes have a lot of homework this year and I also got a job, so having two less classes really helps me out. I just dont want them to think of me as lazy. I am currently at top 11%.

Also is it true that they look at only CR and Math? Or is that a myth?

For SAT they take the math and writing scores. CR does not matter. For ACT they take the math and the combined English/Writing score. UT plugs those numbers, along with your class rank into a formula to come up with your Academic Index score. UT also scores you on a Personal Achievement Index which is based on your essays, ECs and special circumstances.

I only took 5 classes (double early release) my sr yr, and still got into CS (class of 2019) even tho I was not auto-admit. But I had 4 APs (Phys C, Calc AB, Engl 4, & govt/econ) plus an honors class, and a 35 ACT. If you really want to get into Cockrell, it might be worth dropping euro for physics. You can always take history electives in college if you want.
