really stupid FedEx question....

too bad my face won't listen to reason.

rarrr
stupid college decisions

another question...
if the bolivian postal system decides to lose my admission decision when can i call to know my veredict?
can i call that same day (april 1)??

better not call that day, you should call the next day because on april 1 they'll be swampled with calls

Hey guys, how do you know that Princeton is going to use FedEx for sending international decisions? And also, will they only use FedEx for acceptance letters, or also for rejections/waitlist?

Tradition dictates that acceptance letters for scholarships and admissions are couriered, while rejections are snail-mailed.
Experience:
Wash U sent the acceptance thru UPS, IIT thru Fedex - both scholarship and admission. The various scholarship rejections I got came in regular mail.

hey all,
so i emailed them telling them to update my mailing address because it had changed...instead of saying IN CASE YOU WANT TO SEND ME AN ACCEPTANCE MY ADDRESS IS jajaja
i got a response from Kathleen Varra, Regional Secretary, saying they updated my addresss....
does this mean SHE is my rep?
rar

hahaha maybe not coz my file incomplete letter said to send my stuff to Kathleen Varra too and I live in India which is on the opposite end of the world :D

hahaha so basically withint like a week, if you don't see a "Fedex, we live to deliver" then it means you will not be delivered to Princeton.. .:D

but if everyone reads your post here, won't april 1 be the day when nobody calls and the next day be the day everybody calls?

hardly...cc is probably only 1-2% of all applicants.

Kathleen Varra is like the mother of all international applicants... when i called to check if my app was complete, i also talked to her. So yes, she is our rep.

i was thinking the exact same thing..

I'm not sure that acceptance letters will be delivered faster (as in UPS) than rejection letters. After all, Yale EA acceptance letters came via regular mail.
