While your SAT scores are in good shape your gpa might hold you back from acceptance at these schools. I know New Paltz is looking for around a 92 gpa and Syracuse would be similar. Buffalo and Albany would be more in the 85+ range. My friends daughter was rejected from Albany with an 81 but her SAT score was lower than yours. You should check with each school to see what their gpa acceptance requirements are. You may want to go to Community College for a year or two and raise your gpa…it would open up your possibilities considerably…you are obviously smart so if you apply yourself you could do really well. My friends daughter is going to SUNY Farmingdale for this year to raise her gpa with the hope of reapplying to Albany for the fall.
