Really useful, free, open source programs

<p>startup.exe - alternative to "msconfig" controls what programs open when you startup windows so you can decrease the load time.</p>

<p>process explorer - advanced version of Windows Task Manger that gives a comprehensive list of all programs and processes that are running.</p>

<p>VLC Player - Best player to play all your multimedia files. Just be to have all the codecs, sound filters, and such</p>

<p>Sabnzbd + Greasemonkey script - easy to use newsgroup/usenet client for all your file sharing needs.</p>

Adium - IM client that supports multiple services
Camino (browser) - Mozilla alternative to Firefox. Lighter, but with fewer features.
Senuti - Rips songs from iPods.</p>

<p>Instead of the generic "My Pictures", what are some good, free programs to manage digital pictures. I am not looking for editing software, just softeare that organizes pictures.</p>
