I just wondered if W&M cares so much about students' scores. There are couple of cases in which students got admitted with a 1700+/1800+ in SAT. However, according to my teacher, a 2050 is the minimum to apply. Is it true?

BTW I'm a international student, currently my scores are SAT1910(Math+CR=1310), TOEFL 114. And I will def improve my SAT in Oct...

I started a charity organization(a size of 50ppl, i'm a small-town girl;P)/ interned in one of the biggest TV Station in our country for 2months/ was our school's DJ in 9th grade etc.

play piano&guitar/ good at photography & beadwork& web design& vedio clipping etc.

Suppose W&M values students unique personalities more?
That's probably the reason why I want to get into this college SO MUCH.

Thanks a lot :D

ummm…anyone help pls?

Try asking on the W&M CC forum: [College of William and Mary - College Confidential](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-william-mary/) A representative from the admissions staff posts there, as well as several alums, students, and parents.

Scores are important at W&M, as at similarly selective institutions. Your GPA and secondary school curriculum are equally important, if not more so.

thank u so much:D
seems like that i’ve got a long way to go

Keep in mind that the very few cases of students being admitted are likely:

1) Gifted athletes
2) Employees or children of employees
3) Some other very hooked student

A run-of-the-mill applicant with lowish scores would be rejected.

thank u so much i’ll keep that in mind
