Really Weird Situation Regarding Application Decision?

<p>Ok, well on Friday I emailed UB admissions requesting them not to make a final decision until they see my mid year grades. I received this as a response.</p>

<p>Hello Eric,</p>

<p>It looks like we recently requested your mid-year grades in order to complete review of your application. The notice may have been sent out on 2/21 so you should be getting it shortly, or you can just request from your counselor that they be sent to our office. We will review your grades in conjunction with your application. Please let me know if you have any questions!</p>

<p>Well, I received a letter today from the 22nd of february saying I have been rejected but the envelope was dated 23rd. I am confused because as of friday she had requested me to send mid year grades and now today I am being rejected? Is it a mistake on Admissions part or what? The office is closed till monday so I'm really freaking out. Can someone help!</p>

<p>I don’t know how we can help you. Sounds like your only option is to call admissions on monday to straighten the whole thing out. Good luck!</p>

<p>Your best bet would be to call Monday morning and explain the situation. If you got rejected then I have a 1% chance of getting in. Have you heard from Albany yet?</p>
