REAPPLICANTS: THIS is the right time to inquire

Just received a query from one of the BS my DC decided NOT to attend, asking for survey answers to the entire admissions process. Since schools are finished with their academic year and there's a lull (particularly in Admissions) this is probably the right time for those of you that have questions about your past year's application to submit a polite query. Just a "heads up"; you might be able to learn something really valuable, and even get your AO to agree to speak to you on the phone. Good luck with this, and next year!

I second this advice. I already spoke with my interviewers and they all gave me great advice for next year. If you can, try to set up a phone appointment with your interviewer.

Oops…so I updated my information about the waitlist. Should I ignore the waitlist, and instead focus on next year?

PelicanDad, you said “your AO”, is that your interviewer? Should I just send an email them or call?

Yes, Admissions Officer, the one your family had contact with for interview/application process. Yes, I’d start with an email inquiry that includes something about being interested in a conversation is s/he is willing.

Is it possible to get information about how your application was recieved if you didn’t complete it?
