Reapply to a previously accepted college

iceberry, did you have an admissions rep that you worked with the first time around? That is a great place to start, and you may find that this will be simpler than you expect.

@ boysx3
thanks for the advice. yup, my parents are 100% supportive with me transferring to my desired school this time around.

@ digdig
thanks for the advice. unfortunately, i did not have the opportunity to work with a specific admission rep the first time around. is it too late now to find a specific admission rep to work with, for my reapplication to the college?

First of all, I want to thank everyone who took the time and effort to read and post in this thread. All of your inputs, advices, suggestions…etc, have helped me greatly. =)

So, I ended up calling the admission’s office as advised in various posts of this thread, and I’m back for more advice.

First, the admission rep said I would have to file a new application. So I asked the admission rep if I could obtain an electronic copy of my previously submitted application for future reference. The admission rep told me the person in charge is not at the desk at the moment, so I would be receiving an email from them instead. However, it has been several days already and I still have not received any email from them regarding my inquiry. I thought about calling them again, but I’m afraid that I have already annoyed them and got them on their nerves. What should I do?

Clarification: When I submitted my application online, the school’s online application did not provide applicants the opportunity to save a copy of their submitted application at the end of the online application process. Unfortunately, I did not know this beforehand, so I was unable to retain a copy of my submitted application for future reference at the time when I first applied to the school. This is the first time I’ve encountered a situation like this.

It’s their job to work for you, so I wouldn’t worry about annoying them with requests. I sent so many emails with questions to various advisers before I started at my school that when I got to my orientation session, like five different counselors came to say hi to me because they’d had email correspondence with me. lol. Nobody seemed to have been bothered by me. I am sure I have a similar following at admissions and financial aid.

Though, I don’t quite understand why you would need your previously submitted application. It’s not as though you ought to be writing the same things all over again.

thanks for the info.
