I have a rather pressing question--- I applied to Harvard last year and got rejected, but I would like to have the opportunity to be able to apply again. As of moment, I'm taking a gap year and I've deferred a year from the school that I was accepted to. Does anyone know if it is possible to re-apply while you've deferred from another school?

Thanks for y'all's insight.

p.s: just want to make it clear that i'm not currently enrolled anywhere, i've just deferred my enrollment to next school year.

As a matter of principle it is possible to apply to Harvard if you have not completed your first year at university. As this is the case in your situation (Dean Fitzsimmons even encourages Gap-Years) Harvard will not pose any problems (How should they know anyway), however your current institution might have some issue with it, in case you signed anything that stated you may not apply to any other school. Other than that, I see no problem.
