reapplying after high school

i got rejected from harvard this year. since then though, i won 5000$ as best in category as a team at ISEF, which i heard is pretty prestigious. therefore, i plan on reapplying from my year abroad next year.
my stats are:
sat: math:780, reading:800, writing:780
gpa: 93
courses: many aps and college classes in math and science
extra curics: head of debate and school newspaper, won minor awards for both

do you see any problems? is it much harder to apply after 12th grade? how will they factor in 12 grade grades? same as normal application?

nope, you should totally apply after your gap year. Just make sure you do something that is fulfilling. You have the scores and everything, the reason you got rejected was probably because you failed to stand out as an individual. Harvard looks for someone that's unique and is dedicated to what they feel is important. Have fun abroad!
