<p>I got rejected from UMD but heard about reapplying for spring semester. Is it easier or harder to get in following this approach? Or would it be better to just transfer from community college? My main problem in high school has been pure laziness/depression, that's why my grades are so low, however I believe that I am capable of much more. </p>
<p>This semester I am taking a calc III course at community college. So far I have an A in the class. Would this grade make any difference (assuming it stayed an A)?</p>
<p>My gpa is a 2.3 UW /2.69W and my SAT I scores are 760 math, 720 reading, 570 writing. Also, my senior gpa is more than 1.0 higher than my cumulative.</p>
